So, which load board is better for those of you who find your own loads?
I have been using truckstop.com for the past 20 months or so but have within the past month started using the DAT board as well. I am starting to think that the DAT board has more freight. I love the idea of "zoning" your search with the alarm feature and only seeing loads to your desired zone.
As far as I know, truckstop doesn't have this feature. You have to constantly delete posting from wherever you are to PA, CT, NY, VA, MA... it gets old when the same load pops on the board 40 times a day. I wish they would limit this with the brokers. It doesn't seem to happen as much with DAT, though you do get the repeated postings at times.
What it comes down to is saving me $40.00 a month... I don't know what one to keep.
Anyone else have an opinion or would like to weigh in on this?

DAT raised there rates about a year ago and I gave them up and kept TruckStop. TruckStop works just fine for my needs.

I use both. It’s a tax write off and I pull loads from both.
