Good Morning.

There is an upgrade anailable that will allow the Odometer to read beyond 999,999 miles or kilometers. I have attached Service Bulletin 54-38 that addresses this issue.

my dealer said it's $0.31 so soon as it comes in I'm going to try to install it on my datastar . we shall see how it works

So I ordered them both. When I get them next week I will tell you how the install went.

 

What are they? Are they software chips like the Cat displays have?

 

If you open the PDF it shows a chip you replace on the circuit board.

 

Ah I see. I didn't realize there was a link there. When did this come out? In 2005?
