Different tires for different trucks or drivers. One tire will work in one's operation but not another's. It's all subjective right?!

Aside from a few threads on here ... I now have first hand knowledge of 2 people that have had tread separation on a bridgestone steer. Both brand new trucks, came from the factory with the bridgestone whatever all position steer tire.

One Pete, one KW. Pete had less than 20k on it, Kdub about 60. Pete just had the separation this weekend, destroyed his fender and hood. Tire looked like a recap that lost its tread. My buddy with the W9 noticed the separation mid trip during fueling before it grenaded itself.

I know you are diligent when it comes to your tires Dave .. but, keep an keen eye on em.

Now is this the all position tire? The one people use for drives as well? Or a pure steer tire?

They put some of those all position tires on my cousins truck, and he was not happy.

This is without question the smoothest and the best the truck has rode since I've had it.

That picture I posted of the slice, didn't look like the same slice, the other looked bigger, which got me wondering if there were two.

Price unknown. Landstar national account. I'll probably find out when I get my statement Thursday.

Looks like about 650 a tire. Pricey but if they ride well their worth it.

It's past time to update the tire wear thread.

I apologize, but have been very busy, I've also lost my depth gauge.

I do have one update my new Bridgestone steers were $768 out the door.

I will get it done today.
