Did not find anything on this company before going there. DAX Logistix-just STAY AWAY and do NO business with them. They pretend to be an American company with a W-2 application but when I got down there (at my own expense) they are nothing more than a European, 1099 scam company. I will just give the facts with an honest assessment: I found out these things day after day with them. They don't pay travel expenses except to get rid of you and send you home. They don't pay on time and they sometimes don't send pay statements so drivers can't see what they were paid. Every week pay was short! Bryan is the dispatcher-a punk, rude and ####y liar who has a bad temper and likes to put drivers down. The owner is Dan whom I never met, but they said he was an American-he is not. He is European (Polish I believe). The lady who works logs and hiring is a also a liar as is Dan. They make a good team of liars. You have to fight for detention, they will charge you $10 for a cash advance to pay their tolls and then have to fight to get the charge back. They have no I-Pass so West Virginia Turnpike you pay yourself and then hope to get refunded. They have no Pre-Pass. They have no garage or mechanics so you drive until repairs are needed and they go to a shop or are routed hundreds of miles to Dan's friends shop where you wait in a cold shop or driver lunchroom all day. NO hotel, they pull the truck out of the shop at night and that's where you stay with no restrooms as they lock you out. There is not much good to say about these scammers who cheat shippers everyday by charging them full truckload rates only to put another full truckload rate on. They do almost all multi-stop loads so you load and unload at warehouses, go load, go back and put the first freight on and them maybe go get another stop and another unload at a moving company and then back to pickup the freight. Sometimes its 4 days of picking up stops before you get going. Truck was in 'out of service' condition when I got there. They refused to pay me to take it to a shop nearby when I told them I needed paid for that. They never do preventive work on the trucks and you are constantly in shops. They never tell you they have $1000 escrow that drivers don't get back also. Just a scammer company with liars, smooth-talkers and deceiving people. Would never have gone there if I had found other reviews first. They are in Florida but use a Missouri address for pay and billing to look like an American company.

Yes, they have brokerage and trucks. Searched at the time but could find no reviews. They called me, I did not call them. Thought they were W-2 as was part of application and sounded like an .American company. They said owner was American (yes with citizenship but is European). Never met or seen the owner. Everything sounded ok until I got there. You have read the story.

 

I was off for a leg operation and many companies did not want me. So I wanted to get some income as soon as possible. I did not know until time went on how crooked they are. Each week got worse and Bryan is got rude and more rude each day. Then they started shorting pay more and more until I told them I needed the back pay. Bryan got angry because I kept asking for it. So anyhow, hope everyone considering them or checking up on them reads these reviews.

 

Yes, they have freight brokerage also. Three people-the smooth-talking deceiving owner Dan, the hothead punk Bryan and the female liar-Shea. Good team of liars and thieves.

 

Never got my back pay owed, never got my escrow when I brought truck back, never got my last paycheck.
Bryan's last words as i walked out to the road "you will get all your money".
