Not to say we dont, but NH is second only to S. Dakota in my least traveled states over 3 years. Not counting the stretch of I95, on our way to and from Maine.
I've had one delivery near Manchester, and that was a local Walmart run out of the Walmart DC in Maine.

-
Its funny... I get to quite a different set of shippers and recievers on the lease side. I've been to VT and NH quite a bit in the last year - much less time in ME. Have yet to do a tater run on the lease side - probably jinxed myself now though - LOL!
-
thats good to know since i live in manchester,nh. but ithink when i start with prime im leaving nh in my rear view mirror.
-
after a student passes the cdl test does prime send them home to turn there license into there homestate license and then back for training or hows that work?
-
Put in for hometime... a range of days works better than a gotta be there by date. Always give advance notice.
As the day approaches, you'll get a load that finals near your home. Do the load, go empty, ditch the trailer at the appropriate spot, bobtail home.
Heading out is the reverse... gotta be back at the truck before 1000 on your specified departure day. The only changes from that are if you're company living near a terminal. You may be required to park the tractor at the terminal, and find a different way to the house. -
thanks for the info for the hometime i was actualy out an about today and saw a prime truck going to the local wallyworld in my area in your own opinion is it possible that maybe they would give me some of those runs from what i understand alot of drivers dont like the east coast much not sure why thats why i ask about the walmart runs where i live in new hampshire i'm maybe an hr or less from canada if not thats ok to will take what i get and earn my way

You might be able to latch on to the regional work we're doing out of the Lewiston Walmart or get a gig running (more or less) regional northeast in one of the lightweight trucks. I hear it pays well.
-
Yup there's that and some general purpose regional work for the company guys. I"ve heard there's a regional deal working out of Schenectady NY too.
Whaddya mean don't like the northeast? Loosers... good place to make a living at. Speaking of which, gotta git goin - in Springfield MA, going to Jessup MD, via loading at Schenectady NY today! -
well thats good to know i'm looking more to the lease side have more research to do of course before i will make that final decision it's nice to know they deliver close by here other then walmart is alot of the loads warehouse drops wasnt sure if they delivered to supermarkets ect
