    You can do anything if you are willing to spend enough money.

    That said, I would think it would be cheaper, faster and less prone to chasing gremlins to buy a truck already with a sleeper.

    I did that one time. Two of us in a sleeper truck with only one bunk. Bought a hammock at Walmart and installed a steel eye above the windshield in one corner and the other eye went behind the drivers seat almost at the roof. When we shut down, we took turns using the hammock. Worked out ok.
    Problem is with a day cab, you still can't log sleeper berth; probably log off duty.
    This is like the one I used:

    ~~~I used this net type.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This style, blue one, is probably better.~~~~~~
    Then there's the old "coffin box" sleepers drivers used to use. Remove the back window and mount this on the back of the cab.
    Keep in mind the wheel base. Will you still have room to hook the trailer to the 5th wheel?
    I use a black one like the blue one, love it in my 42" flat top. Have a small pad and a piece plywood which hinges up to back wall in case dot ever has an issue for securement, belts still in sleeper.
    Get more room in the bunk, and suspended hammock stay warmer with blankets allowing me to not idle while sleeping down to about 42*.
    If you have plenty of real a state on your frame you can pick up 42" flat tops pretty easy and cheap, and a air ride for bunk pretty easy to install.
    Go to trader or sales post on here an look up my truck, are user name. This set up I have comes off in about 2 hours ( drinking beer) and I have a window that covers bunk hole.
    220" wheel base.
    Grubby Thanks this.
    @W900AOwner did a sleeper install and had a thread on here about it (although I can't seem to find it to post a link).
