I like a small sleeper. Normally, I will stay in the sleeper for 10 hour breaks. Anything longer than that, I'll grab a motel.
The job is so unbelievably unpredictable. Freakish weather out of nowhere. Multiple car automobile fatalities. Sinkholes. My sis runs a daycab and home every night. I told her to carry an overnight bag because you don't know when you will have to sit on the highway, or when a highway gets shut down. Or like that snow that hit Atlanta and everyone got stuck for 30-40 hours. In the South, we used to not worry about snow and ice on the roads, but the last 2 winters have changed everything.
Day cab OR 36" Sleeper??
