that's round trip, after fuel and tolls is usually about 350 and the rest is profit, today I ran 2 loads to Manchester,ct out of south Kearny nj... I did it with 300 worth of fuel plus 140 of tolls my take home was close to 800 today, roadone does a lot of ports which I don't like, comtrak is pretty good pacer also, do not go with "proud to haul" or any of the "evans" companies, mason dix its coming too late to a market full of low ballers

Do you know if they have to meet certain specifications like year, make, model and color?

I work at the Menards DC in Eau Claire, WI as a company driver. The owner ops can bring in a day cab or sleeper any year any color. The owner ops with day cabs are required to do van as well as flatbed deliveries to the stores in WI and MN with some vans being d&h and some being live unloads. Flatbed are already loaded, strapped, and if the load requires it a tarp. All you are responsible for is loosening the straps and rolling them up and they are not too particular on how you fold the tarps. I have seen guys even roll them up into a ball and strap it to the deck lol. Sometimes they will have you go to different vendors in WI and MN and pick up a backhaul. But we company drivers take care of most of that. Most of the time it is just store returns. Now as far as DC locations there are. Eau Claire, WI(ofc), Plano, IL, Shelby, IA, Valley, NE, Iron Ridge, WI and one in IN and one in MI that I can't remember the names of the cities off the top of my head lol.

    bigsky87 Thanks this.
