I talked with an O/O one day in truck shop. Their rate package for o/o is one of the best among trucking companys as he told me.

I've been with Day and Ross for about a year. Really like the company, but the lanes coming out of the Maritimes are way too short. I like to go 2 weeks at a time, and they just can't seem to do it. Next week I am transferring to the Fastrax division for a dedicated run from Florenceville NB to Portage la Prairie MB.

Owned by McCain Foods, Best way I know to keep your shipping cost down is to own the trucks that haul your goods. Even better when you can haul other people stuff to pay for it. They have 2 dept. Full load and partial loads. No better or worse that alot of other outfits. Heard tell Fastrax is now a nonentity and it is all Day&Ross now,or soon to be. I imagine it is a cluster F*** right now with the merging of the two.

Well JRP just know from some of the drivers I know that fastrax is no longer going to be a division it will all be under one set of people in the regional offices Day&Ross. Word is they do not even know yet how they are going to do it. Some of the offices dont have enough room as it is.
