I'd never buy a truck without at least a small bunk and I'd always leave a couple changes of clothes and toiletries in it. Jobs change and roads close at the worst possible times. A set back axle with a small mid roof or flat top sleeper can do almost any job well.
Edit: I have a 219" WB and find that it's fine for everything. Even when I hauled into fish markets. A sleeper window on the curb side makes blindsiding a breeze. I can shoulder check from the seat and see my right rear wheels through the window and in the convex mirror at the same time. -
I'd have a sleeper and do local work. My last truck was a daycab and I won't have one again. Much more room for tools and other things.

I put an offer in on the sleeper, took it out for test drive & she runs great fresh inspection I have a mechanic going to check it out next week I'm excited & nervous but if all checks out I'm all in!!

You wont regret having the sleeper. As most members have said, the advantages far outweigh the bad...
On a rare occasion you might get into a very tight spot. So your back and forth a couple of times to get wiggled in there (the tight spots that allow us to show off our talents).
As my friend says, its a daycab with a box behind cab.
Thanks for the reply. Keep us posted and best wishes. -
Appreciate all of your opinions BE SAFE OUT THERE!!
