cleveland has a new terminal for dayton freight in north ridgeville.haven't been yet myself but its state of the art. money is linehaul side at .798 plus the hrly for d/h and fueling but its nights of course. bid runs based on seniority.
once upon a time odfl would have been my goal. now I'm not leaving df until forced to give the keys back. solid company with very smart ownership/leadership. same can be said for od , I suppose but I hear you can be subject to layoff or on linehaul not working a given shift.
df doesnt layoff and works you but does have volunteer company convenience days based on the days freight volume at a given terminal. top guys usually grab them.
I dont believe either is a bad choice. -

You say you are the Cleveland ‘area’, how close the Cleveland are you? Dayton also has a facility in Akron, and Mentor, so depending on where in that metropolitan area you are, you may have more options.
