I guess I wasnt even aware of Larsen making cb antennas until this week. l’ve owned Larsen VHF antennas over the years, and they are hard to beat.

Nice color combo there with the blue and black. Hate all the extra chrome on a pick up.

Looks real nice. I need to order a new front bumper for mine since a Honda CRV tried to rearrange it, likely going with a paintable instead of chrome to finish my blackout look.

Talked to a guy on Facebook who was a Wilson aficionado...until he got a President Texas antenna, and never looked back. Gonna get one for my wagon.

Then there's me, I care not about whacking stuff when it's a steel whip, screw it :)

LoL, I’ve bent a steel whip on more that one occasion in days gone by. It is annoying if you are slapping stuff daily running around town. Then there is the problem of thin sheet metal on the roof of these pickups now days. I’ve got my “back road” vehicle that is probably gonna get a puck where I can switch out to whatever antenna I want. I’ve always had good performance from a Wilson mounted thru the roof though and hopefully this new one will perform satisfactorily.

I hit tree limbs with a magnet-mount Wilson 1000 sticking up 63 inches from the roof of an F250. The steel whip hasn't been damaged and the antenna stays in place, but it creates a disturbing noise I like to avoid.
