I’ve got a factory reman.14L Detroit. The valve cover tag says it’s an 02. I’m wondering about the parts listed in the tag and in what system the part is looked up. Basically how to read the tag.
    For example

    1870 turbocharger
    0766 valve mech
    0479 injector

The valve mech came up on google for the jakes and I see what I guess are the overhead settings.

Where do I go to see what turbo and injectors these numbers correspond with? Thanks

If I understand it correctly, you would have to have the parts catalog for that year. I've attached a page from the '95 parts catalog, (couldn't find '02). The numbers on your label are option numbers for your engine. i.e you have option 0479 for your injectors. The option number is listed as "types" on the right hand column of the page, and then it lists all the quantities of various part numbers that come with that option. Over on the left is their individual part numbers. It's much easier to use Parts Pro or Excelerator to look up the parts by engine serial number though.
