The east coast doesn't have mountains. They only have hills.

CO has one pass that's 14,500 feet.

The 15 i drove had a 515 hp rating. It could climb hills faster. Making your trips faster. Faster trips equal less run time. Pulling flatbed. It got 1/2 mpg better. And because it didn't take as long to get there. With improved economy. Pretty big savings in fuel money.

    15 over 13 any day.

I loved climbing donners and not dropping as many gears. And making Reno 30 minutes faster.

Cummins is a strong motor and produces a lot of no2 gases into the scr system. As a result the dpf filters get clogged and components get builtup with soot. Veins in turbo gets clogged and turbo goes. Soot gets on piston liners from to much idling. Soot in the oil causing engine seizures and the huge problem is the fuel pumps. Those ceramic fuel pumps let off debris in the system. Fuel pump, turbo, crank case filter , and dpf clean should be done under 400k.

I ran the 15 with the 13 speed manual and currently running the 13 with a 12 speed automatic.
The tranny and the space is what I miss the most.
