You've got all the emissions devices. A different computer system. Whatever else electronic.

You'd be better off just buying an older truck. And fixing it up. Or just fixing up what you've already got. You're worried about the stories. Yet, how many miles did you original engine go already? Before it was overhauled and gone bad.

I did 800.000 originally, All of the emmisions devices can be deleted and the ELD will work on a 1999 and lower engine, i just dont think it is a good idea for me since i have an automatic transmission and i will need to swap that as well. I guess is better to buy an old truck and fix it up like you said.

You cannot put a older engine in your truck legally.
You cannot escape ELD's by putting a older engine in your truck.
