Hey, does anyone know if there is a way to program the ACM to inject more DEF? I noticed that when it injects more DEF the efficiency goes up on this one truck. Or is there no way to compensate?
DD15 low NOx conversion efficiency and bad DEF Quality

Do you know if the amber engine light stays on if the bypass is done? Not the CEL.

I don't know directly. I've heard that you do get a code on post-EPA07 engines so I assume yes. I didn't use the bypass method on mine when a NOx sensor failed. I used the DDDL software to change the derate consequences to nothing. I was getting a CEL, a MIL, and a DEF warning light. The CEL and DEF lights would go out after a while but the MIL stayed on.

i appreciate it. I don’t want to spend $$ on the one box if I have 8 months left on my career.
bypass it is and learn to live with the MIL. -
MIL amber light will stay on and there will be one active fault code. just ignore it. i drove 700k miles with that code active )))LoneRanger Thanks this.

will this take care of 5 MPH derate?

older dd15’s work, I think the cut off was 2014

Ours is a DD13 (2014) in the process of replacing DEF pump corrected nox efficiency with fresh air now my DEF pump fault came active however my nox efficiency is 100% . I will let you know how it works out .LoneRanger Thanks this.
