A friend of mine with a 09 cascadia with dd15 (ex martins truck) Just swapped his dd15 out into a different dd15 ($10k) ran for a week, and toasted once again. Keep throwing $$$.

Another vote for the DD15.
Had (emphasis on HAD) a 2013 Western Star Isx15 for approximately 4 days. Had to 6 gallons of oil in it on day one (company truck), had to take it into the dealer on day four. For a complete inframe rebuild. At 207,000 original odometer.
My 2013 Cascadia DD15, which was my original assigned truck since I joined this outfit and has been under MY watchful eye. Is past 330,000 on the odometer and purring like a really well fed kitten.
So I would vote for the DD15. This isn't my first, and I have always been impressed with the reliability of the engine if the driver pays attention to it.
Heck, I'm planning on a truck purchase myself and am only looking at DD15s and 60 Series engines. Detroit's have been very good to me for the past two decades of being a company driver. -

None of these engines cannot go more than half million without overhaul. ####
