Hello, I'm driving down the highway and check engine light came on. Started blinking and truck shut down. Turn it right back on and rolled 2-3 miles and did same thing. Did same thing again. Turned it back on and running at 55 instead of 65 and she's running just fine. Any thoughts.
DD15 shutting off.

Check oil and coolant level.
-
They all appear to be at propper order. Thanks
-
If your coolant and oil is ok, you can go down the road and when your engine light starts blinking, press the OVERIDE button. I have gone up to 400 miles like that. My shop told me to do it. Check with your shop.
Edit: I assume you have tried doing a Re-Gen? -
I wonder if the engine is derating? Have your tired a Re-Gen?
-
No derate. Just showed a code, pid 111. Coolant level sensor.
-
Thanks to all who posted, a code popped up. PIP 111. Makes perfect sense now thinking about it. Theses dang sensors. I guess a few sensors are good. Low coolant might be one to have. Thanks to all

Were is the override button. I was not aware it had one. Thanks
-
It is down there on the right with the rest of them switches. It may say engine override, I can't remember. I have a 2010 that has it. Yeah, the coolant needs to be near the max full line. The minimum full line is a little low, actually.
Edit: I think it is just right of the Re-Gen switch.Last edited: Mar 5, 2016
jacquesi23 and Dye Guardian Thank this. -
Here is a picture for reference. Directly below the the air valves, to the right of the 4-ways button on this 2016 Cascadia. If I'm not mistaken, it was in the same place on the 2010 Cascadia I ran.
Getsinyourblood Thanks this.
