Detroit is kinda overpriced on labor, where you located, I have a couple of great shops in SLC if you ever need them.
-

They have told me it's either gear cover gasket or transmission housing gasket. I can't really see where it's coming from

	I'm in Tampa Fl
I have 670k on mine I was wondering if I should just bite the bullet and get it fixed and while its apart go ahead and do the clutch and all that other stuff while I'm there?
-

If they have to pull transmission I would think about getting it done & also the rear main seal.
-

Yea it sucks but I think that's what I'll do just do it all including the rear mainSLCTrucker Thanks this.

What year is your truck? If you don't mind saying, what did it cost to up the power setting?

I'm looking at some used Cascadias, 2012 & 2014. I haven't ruled out any year really since my research so far hasn't revealed what years to avoid, if any.

Mine is a 2010, its was about $4500 but that included the truck being cleaned up too.RStewart Thanks this.
-

What exactly do you mean by cleaning up the truck? Cleaning the dpf filter?

2010 & 2011 were the "good" years of the dpd correct? I guess I'm asking didn't they have less issues in general than the previous years?
-

2008 & 2009 they had issues getting the DPFs working.
2010 they seemed to of worked it out, I had no SCR on this truck.

When they reprogramed my ECM the removed the regen function from my truck.RStewart Thanks this.
