DD15....wtf??

    I need ur advice.
    Mine is 2016 cascadia day cab dd15 240 k miles. Mix city and hyw loads.
    Askes for regen every 700 km.
    I have done valve adjustment, cleaned 7 th injector, delta ports r clean.
    My mechanic said that DOC INLET PRESSURE IS HIGH 1.1 During regen. Wud a detroit face plugin procedure work to reduce pressure?
    Or what else can be reason for teuck asking for frequent regens. Some others teuck in my company on same routes need regen after 2000-3000 kmsQUOTE="mhyn, post: 9954068, member: 24122"]ok .
    go to Detroit diesel dealer, not freightliner, and update software's in mcm, cpc and acm. ask them to check fuel mapping numbers are correct for that engine. Ask them to run doc face cleaning procedure. When doc face is partially clogged engine is flat and unresponsive. I would connect the DL soft and run it under load. The boost pressure value, fuel pressure value, doc inlet pressure value would show something.
