DDEC 3 TO DDEC 4 ENGINE SWAP

    I am getting ready to swap out my DDEC 3 for a DDEC 4, I am assuming everything is plug and play wiring wise, but i had a question about the wiring harnesses around the engine. As detroits have a harness going around from the rear of the block. Fan control, coolant temp senso. Will my ddec 3s work or will i have to get new ones specific to the ddec 4 ?

    Other than some parameters in the ecm conf. You will be money ahead to get a DDEC 4 sensor harness, and DDEC 4 boost sensor. What intake manifold do you have? some can take both the ddec3 and ddec 4 boost sensors. I just did this for a guy, and that was the only sensor we changed.

    I do not have the part number of the Intake that I currently have.
    Is that harness number you provided particular to the ddec 3 or ddec 4? Or does it crossover both models?

    only sensor different from 3 to 4 is boost sensor just use your 3 harness on the 4

    23517437 this is my intake and based on my research this crosses over into ddec 4s.
    Now for my sensors I have this setup currently. DDEC 4s use a single sensor as shown in my other picture.
