    Cowpie..... I'm interested to know what effect that manifold had? Have you went with a higher hp tune yet?

    I'm having a problem reading through this.... A mod went through and hammered out alot of the convo.... Apparently tuning and exhaust mods on a pre egr truck is not allowed..... I'll go back and struggle reading this thread to figure out if I can contribute anything to the convo.

    I ended up putting on the borg warner 171702. Bit laggy compared to stock. Like it was said my boost won't start to build quick until 1300-1400. I can get 38 lbs of boost. Now my ECM had died and I had purchased a reman with 600 hp 1850. Installed it yesterday and the fan comes on when I let of the throttle so it will have to go to the dealer to have the pin locations straightened out. I do not notice any extra power over what I had before this ECM. I thought I would notice something.

    Depending what you start with it will be noticeable. Your best bet is to have a performance shop tune your ECM.

    I run a BW 171702 turbo , with a set of XXXX injectors, an ABCD cam, My ECM tune was done by #(&*. I also run a set of P_#^ mufflers. Hope this helps.
