    anyone know where i can get the original files to flash my ecm back to stock?

    anyone familiar with DDCT,please contact me...

    Do you have flash/eprom programmer? To reflash I have to desolder flash and EEPROM from DECC-iV.

    To get files you have to be DD dealer and download them from Detroit diesel server

    I called one of the DD Dealers here: (Inland Detroit Diesel-Allison...Butler, Wis)
    I wanted to do something similar...
    $400 for the program and then T&M for install/configuration.

    Yes i have the programs to do the flash...just need the files.
    I have DDDL, DDRS, and DDCT. just dont have a password to get the files from detroit's mainframe.

    I have BeeProg programmer. I desoldef flash chips and do reflash on desk.

    This way is better especially if ECM got internal damage.

    007;i have not seen or heard of any body being able to download a ddc ecm with out first downloading the program from the factory,i have tried all the ways i know of to the point of my phone number blocked at the factory.best way is to have a friend at the dealership or distributor that can do it for u ..please by all means let us know if you find a way.

    Go to digitalkaos.co.uk and search for the DCT thread. It has everthing you need to know. You need to join up first though which is free.

    I guess nobody really reads the original post...I ALREADY HAVE DDCT, as well as DDDL and DDRS...i only need the metafiles to put in the ecm,these are downloaded from Detroit mainframe, which requires a password that i don't have.
    I have been to Digital Kaos and searched thru every thread related to DDCT,DDRS,DDDL, and Detroit Diesel.I have posted requests there too, to no avail.

    the problem is that low NOx files you will get on Detroit server. No old flash files.

    Metafile is just a collection of paremeters. You need *.prg files.

    I got no way to reflash units, I did only this desoldering memory chips
