We have the big 2050 transmission, The owner drives the truck, is hard to change his ways. I agree with you on the shifting.

Lenny do you guys have eaton fullers in Europe in trucks? Just curious.

These days only our small manufacturer Sisu in Finland use 18 speed Fuller behind Cat engines. They make only special trucks, mostly logging trucks, tippers with transfer dump and some heavy haulers.
Earlier there were many other manufacturers using 13 speed Fullers and 12 speed Twinsplitters, Man, Iveco, Daf and all the British maufacturers.
I have personally driven Twinsplitter, 13 and 18 speed and I liked the 18 speed most, Twinsplitter takes second place. I dont like european synchro boxes, they are too slow and heavy to shift. New cable actuated 14 speed Volvo box is really awful, Scania 14 speed is much better.550hpW900L Thanks this. -

A 1MM C16 is the earlier version of the 7CZ C16.They actually still called that a 3406E I think.

The 1MM I have was built in 1999 and is in my 2000 W900L.Just to let you guys know I am really a Detoit guy but bought this truck and am trying to learn about these Cat engines. My last W900 had a 14ltr. Series 60 I ran 81mph in a 1/4 at LACR a few years ago.

I'd also reallylike to thank a bunch of you for some interesting reading.I was going to buy a PP box,manifold,turbo and now I'm not really sure what to get,I did go out and find 2 A model exhaust manifolds..I wonder if we can get some indepth C16 talk going.
