instead of trying to school me, maybe be a bit more upset with those bad apples that are giving your profession a bad name. My husband went above and beyond to try to work with these people and it could've led to an accident. It won't happen again.

Currently don't deal with brokers at Swift, but I can tell you there are a lot of customers who track our trailers and have had CSR and DM and Planners breathing down my neck asking me why I am running late and the customer asking them why I'm not moving. A few weeks ago I screamed into my DM's ear over the phone "my truck doesn't do less than 60 unless I'm in a god #### school zone, and even then it's 59. I'll be there at the time I set my ETA. Quit calling me, I am in the sleeper as I know you can see." And then I hung up the phone. Haven't spoken to her since.

I haven't been late, my fault or otherwise, in a very long time. Normally if there is a window, I'm trying to deliver at the front end of it. Either way, I'm trying to work my clock with my next load in mind, not necessarily the current one. I know how Swift works at this point and so I want to make sure I'm not watching my 14 tick away as I sit waiting on a load. Or starting my clock to drive 4 hours and then park for 6 until a delivery when I already called ahead and can't get the load off early. I'll wait 5.5 hours and drive the 4 hours to deliver it, preserving my clock.

    #### them man. Just deliver your load and block their calls. Swift has to call from private numbers and personal cell phones to reach me anymore. I even turn my Qualcomm off when I'm in the sleeper now.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

It's the 21st century. All company equipment is gps tracked. Try calling the carrier and getting an update:dontknow:

It might just have a better result than pestering a guy driving an 80,000lb vehicle in heavy traffic.
