I got into it with a CR England Flease Op...He pulled into the jersey truck stop and was going on and on about how he was a O/O..He went on to tell me he is out for 4 weeks and home 3 days.He runs 3500 miles a week and he will ''NEVER'' own the truck....He went on and on and on...At the end of the B/S i asked him how much a week he actually brings home...He said...

    $734.00...:biggrin_2556:

WOW! He was certainly living large huh?
USA Truck are having a dump about my downtime pay due to THEIR truck hitting me when a DRUNK guy drove bobtail into my 3 month old Western Star. Idiots have zero comprehension about rates etc.

Maybe some people go lease because they're clueless and they know it? It's still better than being a company driver. But true O/O isn't something you should go into unless you're sure you have the brains for it.

The staff here at TTR has heard your concerns loud and clear, between this thread and another like, we are working on a solution to it. It does take time to come up with a solution and implement one that we feel will be a good compromise for all. We ask for your patience.

And yet here you bashing lease drivers. Even after this post still bashing. Do what you said walk away from this thread. I for one am tired of hearing you bash people when all of your examples are so generic it's laughable. Just walk away.

More clueless comments from more clueless drivers, surprise surprise.
See a pattern here though? This of us that have been driving over 10yrs KNOW that they are a joke. Only suckers, oops I mean people, that dont see it, are the ones who know no better and fail to take advise.
