Nice post killroy. The heaviest I've been is roughly 130k (84 or so on the deck) and just when I think iam doing something I see a 10 plus axle setup and I realize iam not doing all that much. To me heavy haul means heavy, real heavy. You can run 80 k coils on flats with 3 9s in afew states and look at b trains their something like 164k and I never heard one of those guys call them selves heavy haulers.

I'm not a heavy hauler, I don't meet your standers or most people's. But I don't mind, the only thing I care about is hauling a heavy wallet. The one thing I learnt from expediting was to work smarter not harder, so now I've learnt to find loads that are in the heavy haul range that pay my wallet.

I haven't ever hauled a 14 wide load, I haven't hauled a 15 high load but I'm proud of my paycheck every week. I found a way to make good money and be home every night.

My boss laughed at me today because I couldn't even load a grease gun but tomorrow guess who they will be asking to show the other drivers how to load the grease gun. Do your job and do it well is what my daddy taught me.

well as long as you are happy, and making a " Buck with your Truck " that's all that really matters.
