besides my prior post about the trucks being junk at best and the insurance is a joke as well. i found out last friday that i have to drive another 160,000 miles before this broke ### broke ### company will give a raise. so with a 160,000 miles to your looking at least a 1-1.5 years before i can get a raise. and then i asked with that if i manage to stay here that long what would that raise be? the answer was one whole whopping penny. so i go from .385 to .395 per mile. there is no suck thing as driver shortage. the only shortage is drivers pay. these companies just keep stealing more and more from the drivers. ALL these trucking companies got to remember without a driver you have no trucking company. if ANYONE is thinking about Deboer i would highly recommend not too. go anywhere else. junky trucks, rip off pay, maintenance is half ### at best. we look like dirty ### scumbags driving down the road because they dont even allow a on road truck wash. yes we can get the truck washed at a terminal, but hell we only have 3 terminals. so its kinda hard to get to one. and besides they dont like you coming into a terminal. so once again, its a dirty ### scumbag company. i would even wash the truck with my own money, but they will not reimburse me for it so i will not use my money to wash the trucks and since they dont care, i dont care either. after all its not my name on the side of the door.

im only still here because im waiting to get back home and get my hazmat back on my license. i havent been home since 10/22/12. so in order to make sure i can have thanksgiving with my family im staying out till black friday. because of peoples work loads at home were going to have thanksgiving sometime over that weekend. just found out yesterday that this dirt bag company is going to start reeefer work. hell we dont get paid now as it is and now were going into reefer work, so we all can expect even lower pay per week. as we all know theres alot of sit and wait and wait and wait with reefers. over heard a lady from the office say were going to reefers because the freight pays more. well pays more for the company but the driver still gets screwed. as the drivers isnt going to see a pay increase. so yea i will be leaving, as a matter of fact im already in the process of doing so. but alot of the companies i want to goto require hazmat. so im waiting to get home to reapply for my hazmat. had ir beofre so i know i can get it again. anyone thinking about deboer STAY FAR AWAY. one other thing they took away the health insurance as well. its now some kind of self pay bull *hit system they came up with to save money. god cant idle, cant have a microwave cant do anything with these dirtbags and sometimes im willing to bet a person working fast food makes more in a week then we do as drivers with this dirt bag company
Boondocks_4WD Thanks this. -
Its amazing what you can find on here, I spent the last few months with Con Way LTL , Wasnt my cup of tea for many reasons , And I came across Deboer, Never heard of them before but after speaking to them it seemed as if this was what I was looking for, I realize a business is a business but Im trying to stay clear of just becoming lost as a # and at Deboer I think Ive found it.

how is deboer policy regarding drug screening i wanted to find out do they do urine samples or will they pull hair folicles once i arrive at the training faciulty??? -
Once you arrive at the training headquaters in WIS what happens next?? I wasnt told anything about how i will be tested on drug screen or will my current medical certifacate be enough?? I need some insight as to how this process works please. -
My husband drove for them nearly 2 years ago. They were pretty well worthless. When we put in the app to do drive for them, we put in that he wanted over the road. Well, we live in Oklahoma, and the only time we seen Oklahoma was when we was going home. Otherwise, he ran mostly the north central. Mostly ran Wisconsin, Illinios, Indiana and Ohio. We had to fight just to get at least one load goin out to Cali. We got tired of having to fight tooth and nail to get any miles with deBoer.

Tankerman you have good info brother and thank you for your comment. I have seen this ankle feller on other post commenting negatively toward drivers and I know he can't work for all the trucking companies. So he must be a spy trying to down drivers. Don't take my word just keep up with his post you will find out the truth.

I started out with deBoer. They treated me well and I got pretty decent miles. But they do not have good equipment, at all. Can't say that enough. I would not go back and if I knew then what I know now I would have just started with Schneider and been done with it. But they are not evil people, well unless your a truck.
Gunner710 Thanks this.
