I just edited my post when you were typing this. I realized I should’ve been more clear.

Very slight trace of bitterness. Mostly accepting things the way they are and the way they've always been.

Yes and I tried it but these are huge spikes, not typical nails. Anyway, doesn't matter I was headed home. I'll get them tonight when I go back out. Crowbar now on board. It's not about the tool though. It's about the receiver being a tool. lol.

I would say Ok, I'll do it, but I throw EVERYTHING in the receivers parking lot, or dumpster. The trailer didn't have all that crap when it was brought to the shipper for this load, it won't have it when brought to the shipper of the next.

I was at a receiver last year that offloaded crates secured by 2X4s nailed to the trailer floor.

The dock personnel were not allowed to unalive the 2X4s, so I had to. But I was given a long crowbar to uproot the timbers after each crate was offloaded.

It was like work. I may have broken a sweat.

Many moons before that, I needed to remove nails from a trailer floor. I asked my dispatcher for advice. He did pay me for my work. Worth it.

Upset and overheated because it was summer, "Thirty dang nails!", is the message I put on the Quackycomm. He paid me one dollar per nail.

I had trouble with some of the nail heads coming off, and have carried a pair of nippers ever since to easily uproot these renegade nails.

Guys smarter than me carry a small leaf blower with them.

Lol! Well, we do the work so it's done as quickly as possible to free the dock and space up in our small crowded yard. Most of them can't speak English either so it's best they stay in the truck anyway.
