I can hear it now................
Hey Tampon driver, ya got it on?
Ya got a brake light out and your string is draggin on the ground behind ya!.............................
-
Does anyone have specifics of how much they would charge to allow a 2' x 3' decal on the back of their truck (and no, it wouldn't be promoting tampons!)
-
Why not?
I'd like a 53' Reefer with a 53' Tampon down both sides
. You see im smarter then your average guy, i WANT the tampons because then the Ladies would be Chasing me all day

Doesn't matter what it will or won't be promoting, it'll never work for several reasons.
Put a 2x3 decal with the intel inside logo on the back of my truck and thieves may think I have a high dollar load and rob me blind. No thanks.
Have the Target logo on when delivering a Walmart load. Bet that turns ugly in a hurry. Maybe the decals will be magnetic ( which won't stick to fiberglass or plastic ) and we can remove them. Forget to put it back on when you leave, now you have collected monies for it and not held up your end of the bargain. How does this get policed to make sure we don't just take the money and run?
The only trucks this could work with is O/O's with their own authority and equipment, any carrier isn't going to let you put anything on their equipment and if they do let you put it on your truck leased to them. The first time it causes any issue at all with one of their customers it will be removed or they will let you go.
Also has anyone ever seen any advertisement with a dirty nasty raggedy truck driver promoting it on any billboard or commercial? ( hygiene or medication maybe ) The corporations will not want their product associated with that image at all. Yes there are plenty of us who are clean cut professionals, but the general public doesn't know that, and that is who the corporations are marketing to.
Maybe there are products that this sort of advertising could work. I would think they are limited and the trucks to advertise them are just as limited.Side Skirts Thanks this. -
Yea but they will be a bleeding. All you will get is the bloody ones You might prefer the Enzyte and just ride around smiling
-

99% of us don't own the trailers we pull, they're owned by a trucking company. We change trailers several times a week. The folks I work with own thousands of trailers and they're in this Biz for maximum profits. You can contact any of the big freight companies but they won't return your calls. Thousands, or tens of thousands of dollars, it's nothing to them and not worth their time.
You're better off finding a tiny, struggling company to work with. Trouble is, you never know if a company like that will be open tomorrow morning- or closed up and out of business.
I like to think outside the box- I would give my advertising money to strippers and ask them to Tattoo their Ta-Tas. People WILL read those.
