i've had bad luck with the wal mart hydraulic jacks,, great price but on 2nd one now. i wanted to put a jack in my trailer box cause if it is loaded and i need to change tire, it will be heavy.
has anyone found a good solid brand of hydraulic jacks that won't break the bank but also won't break when you need it?
decent hydraulic jack, decent price where?

I like the air assisted 12 ton hydraulic jack that I got from Harbor Freight many years ago. I caught it on sale for about $90. 12 Ton Air/Hydraulic Bottle Jack
God prefers Diesels, Diesel Dave and Rockwind1 Thank this. -
i think i need a hydraulic one,,, i don't have air,, i am pulling 30ft gooseneck with 2 10k axles with a f350

I’d go heavier than you think you need. I had a 12 ton hydraulic like RC posted and really needed a cheater pipe to get a axle up.
Harbor freight or northern tool would be where I would look.God prefers Diesels, beastr123, rollin coal and 1 other person Thank this. -
Times 2 on the Harbor Freight jacks. I have about 4 bottle jacks laying around, 2 are from Harbor Freight.
God prefers Diesels and Rockwind1 Thank this. -
This is what replaced the 12 ton. Haven’t had to use it yet.

20 Ton Hydraulic Bottle Jack
This one works well, although I'd rather have a jack with a case to protect it. I've also got the low profile version of it as well. It will fit under my trailer and drive axles easy, but not the steer axle. You might need a block or something to lift it at a higher point like near the spring hanger. I think it lasted about 4 years before I finally had to put more oil in it.God prefers Diesels and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
Bigger probably better if you don't have an air source handy.

Every one of these big bottle jacks with an air motor come with a handle for armstrong operation. At least that way you'd have it if you were working near air, or at some point brought along a small compressor.God prefers Diesels and loudtom Thank this.

If Milwaukee would come out with a 20T jack that ran off a M18 battery it would sell like hotcakes.God prefers Diesels, rollin coal, lester and 1 other person Thank this.
