After talking to a few different companies and considering doing a lease, I decided to drive for Pullen Brothers. I liked the area they run. The Lakeland terminal is close by, and their hometime option is very good. I really hated leaving Henderson when I did, but they wouldn't keep me when we moved back to Florida. I go tomorrow and do the drug screen and get truck assigned.
They will give me a load up to Sikeston, Mo for a very short orientation either Monday or Tuesday. Not a lot of information on here about Pullen, so I'll update often.
Decided to go with Pullen Brothers

Never know. Hope not. Ha!

If it is the company I think it is I know they have a lot of real old trucks. Seemed to be well maintained though.
-
That's the one. They have all been replaced with Cascadia's now. From 2011 to new ones. A few of the drivers that have been around for awhile still drive the old FLD's though, by choice.

They've been around a long time.
Good Luck !bigcat1124 Thanks this. -
All done with the paperwork and drug screen. I'm leaving either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning heading to Sikeston, MO with a load and to get my assigned truck. They gave me a 2012 Cascadia to take up there. It is due for a service soon. They have a newer truck up there to assign me next week.

Drug screen finally came back yesterday. Picking up my first load, some ice cream, in Clearwater, and dropping it in our Sikeston terminal. I finish up my orientation up there and get assigned truck.

I dropped my load at the yard this morning and finished orientation. They put me in the motel and gave me a pick up to drive for the evening. I load in the am right around the corner and heading to Texas.
The Challenger and 123456 Thank this. -
What's their pay rate? What truck did you get?
