So far, so good. Equipment is well taken care of. In the short time I've been here, the miles are here, it just depends on how hard you want to run. If you want to stay east, they will be lower. 2500 a week if you stay east. 2800+ if you go west.

Home time is different here. I'll be home this week. They ask, "when do you want to leave out? " It's kind of up to you how hard you want to work. That might be different if you don't live close to the terminal. Dispatch is very helpful and leave you to do your job. Still on paper logs which is a plus.

The one problem I could see happening is no 24 hr Dispatch. We have a emergency number if something happens. We do a lot of the same loads which is nice.

All in all, I'm very happy with my decision to come here.

Once I got empty in Jacksonville, they sent me to Lakeland empty. Taking a few days off and enjoy the Florida weather.

You don't live off of 655 in Polk county do you? I run loads to Auburndale and use 655 to get over to 92 and saw a Pullen truck parked in a yard across from the biking trail.

Interesting....I haven't seen a Pullen truck in a long time....unless they changed their logo fro what it was back in the 90s.

Nope. I live in Plant City. I leave my truck at the yard.

Not sure. They look the same for the last 5 or 6 years, but past that, I'm no help.

After I picked up my loaded trailer. I broke down at the TA in Terrell. The alternator locked up and cut my main fan belt. With it being Sunday, I was concerned about not having 24 hr dispatch. Not a problem, even though it took till this morning to get fixed, had no problem with any of my break down. It only took so long since TA didn't have the right alternator for my truck.

Back on the road and heading to Florida.
