Deciding between CFI and SWIFT for CDL training

    I was off base with comprehending his post. I believe 1 week in a mentors truck isn't safe at all

    I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

    Having a home terminal close to your actual home can work out better for home time/pmi/repairs etc. Something to consider.

    So Swift has a reputation for turning out poor drivers? Well, you go be a GOOD Swift driver.

    That's not my opinion about SWIFT. I am only stating what I have been told. I have no clue what is true or not.

    I have not decided between CFI and SWIFT yet. I have been approved by SWIFT, but don't know about CFI yet

    call CFI and ask the recruiter if she can give a list of numbers of drivers u an talk to sumtimes the recruiter will do that for new drivers comin to CFI so ur not blind comin to their company worth a try

    I did not mean to imply that you did, nor did I infer that from your post.

    I agree with the part of your post that I quoted.

    If I were choosing between two companies, both with differing but significant "cons", I would lean heavily towards the company that had a terminal nearest my house.

    Well, Swift DOES have that reputation. I've been hearing that for years.

    I've never worked for Swift, either, so I don't know if it's true
