Decipher Rockwell rear ID tag

    Does anyone know with this tag means on my front rear?

    These are Rockwell rears and on the tag where it says model there is just a number eight and then a space with the rest of the numbers.

    8 31218 600

    The tag is hard to read but here are some pictures of it.

    Looks to be on the axle housing. Look for another tag on the carrier housing.
