Feels good don't it. I don't do linehaul but I can get
A few more bigger ones than you.
Up around that 17/18/19 hundred bring home money.
But I lose a week when I go home for a week.
    Yours is nice and consistent.
I used to do the same amount of work for half the money.

You got to attack these good jobs and get them
For every penny that you can before something or
    Someone screws it all up.

Pretty much lol. When I top out, I plan to get off the road. As for now, I'm back in grind mode. 3K miles is nothing for me.

I keep trying to convince myself to go back to night shift so I can rake in over $1900 gross every week on a specific bid run. It's just under about a 10.5 hour run, around 540 miles, double-turn to two different terminals (so, no meet guy to have to wait / rely on). We've got some other runs that are single turns where you are grossing over $2100 a week and only working 5 days - 640 some miles daily. I'm not quite there yet on the seniority board.

Then again, I've become so spoiled running daylight linehaul that I'm willing to work for $75,000 a year on my cushy 8.5 hour run. I'm lighter on the paycheck but heavier on the time at home. Most truckload guys that are gone for weeks at a time and stuck in a sleeper cab are having to run their cojones off for $75k. Perspective. I can make $75k a year, sleep in my own bed, have 5 hours before I go into work to putz around the house, and still get the weekends off.

Linehaul is simply one of the best jobs to maximize your hometime and income potential. I'm blessed to be able to work for one of the best LTL companies out there.

Nope, very governed. I'm one of the unlucky ones assigned a 65mph truck!
