Pat, as I mentioned Allen Freight Services (AFS), one of PAM's five different divisions, in the PM I just sent you, might be your best bet. One of the guys I went to CDL school with works for that division of PTSI. He's a trainer and has stayed with the company since July of 2003. He's very happy with them and makes very good money. As I recall, he consistently drove more miles with AFS than I did with PAM Transport before he became a trainer. And, now that I realize which state's panhandle you're from per your handle, you could likely be home more with AFS. I'd make it known to any recruiters or job placement people that you want PTSI's AFS division. Good luck. -
Here you go, lookingup.

i found a school (TDI/CDI) that called me back today, turns out they have a school/CDL testing center 25 minutes away in Milton. they will apply for a loan for me train me and have me a pre-hire from a Co. (they had werner, covenant, Stevens Transport, CRS, Swift posters on ther walls) the school is 3 weeks, 4-6 weeks with trainer making 300-500 a week, then i get a truck and make 700-900 a week. co pays loan every month and i get to stay home and save $$$$$ while in school.
:smt023 i am very happy i found this place.:smt023 i was scared of getting to a school out of state and having ONE thing go wrong and sending me packing after handing over several hundred bucks for "expenses" -
