Now that's classy! Got a flatbed behind he bunk so you can bring the motorcycle along, or a picnic lunch some chairs and a beach umbrella or the grill and some meat. Doesn't get much more winning than that. I've been desperately searching for a reason to buy this or something similar...but have no reason besides stupidity lol -
Ive looked @ it a few times myself. But think im going with the 01 W9, 6nz 13 double over, 3.36 rears.

Sounds legit. What kinda miles and what kinda money?
-
Fresh overhaul. But truck has 1.5 mil.

go on...it could still be tight as long as it didn't spend extensive time in the salt belt. I bought mine w just over 2 million. 900k on a rebuild. Zero rust. Everything was tight. Original owner, only driver. Extensive preventative maintenance. Just goes to show that high miles doesn't always mean low quality.
blacklabel Thanks this. -
I'm seriously considering the road trip 1200 miles to go look at it. Have a dyno and inspection done at dealership. And a shop foreman told me to look at a ?vista? Machine?

have them get you an ECM print out.
Get a dyno done and sent to you.
Get any oil analysis records.
I bought my truck sight unseen knowing that I would have some maintenance to do.
I live in MN and bought it in WA.
The only thing I was "surprised with" came to me on Friday this week.
A thin spot on the frame side flange had a crack develop smack in the middle of it. Factory defect. Who would have looked for it. PAY ATTENTION to your frame thickness.blacklabel Thanks this. -
