aside from nostalgia, why a flat-top? i assume you are over 3 feet tall

 

I bought a w900 and I wouldn't have anything else. Once you've driven one for a while it's very hard to want to get into anything else. Mpg is all in the right foot. A good driver can get good mpg out of a hood just the same as a bad driver can get bad mpg out of aero truck. I like my 550hp cat with 18 speed roadranger. it can pull ,climb and haul anything down the road with ease. I can run up and over Donner pass in 7 direct at 80k gross and it just loves it!. Maybe it's in my head but I think a long hood truck rides over
snow and ice and sits more stable on the road better than a setback axle aero truck. It's not just about style in a hood, it's spiritual, and if ya don't know what I mean then you ain't got no place looking out over that long beautiful hood!

 

You forgot to mention one thing, it just feels right.

I'm definatly a KW man,but I appreciate all hoods. I think I would prefer a hood or no hood at all ie COE. I would love an old k100 to play around in. I like coming down to the border towns and seeing the old cabovers the Mexicans run around in.

 

Air front axle can solve that. "Everybody wants a Pete" so why follow the pack Kdub for me. Nothing I like more
