I'm hoping this a drop. This load thankfully is not bloody it's packaged. So just probably have to sweep the wood chips that break out. Once I get unloaded have to call breakdown. My truck needs a alignment asap. So hoping there's a shop around. But doubt if they would be open on the weekend.

Dropped my load and grabbed a mty. Once i sent in my mty call had a load sent back within 5 mins. Great but don't pick up until monday morning. That just give me time to take the truck to peterbilt for an alignment. Not complaining on the miles. 1200 loaded miles to Missoula. So going to take a nap until peterbilt opens at 0730.

Well peterbilt body shop is closed so no alignment today. Going to do a 34 in St Joseph, MO. Picking up Monday going to Missoula, MT. Get to cross off some more states that i havent been to this trip. Once I unload going to tell dispatch to hold off on getting me a load. Going to take the truck over to peterbilt there to get the alignment done. Then hopefully smooth running from there.

So got lucky with my current load. It was loaded a day early so no need to do a 34. Load is due Wednesday morning but I will be there Tuesday. So far so good with decker. All my trips have been 800 plus mile trips.
Vic Firth Thanks this. -
If your going to Missoula, Respect a few Passes on I-90....Not sure your experience,But Careful over the Continental Divide Pass east of Butte- Your going to be Heavy I Assume, Gear it Right.
Other than that- You'll Enjoy the Beauty of Montana- Nothing quite Like it- Don't Feed The Bears. -

618 miles done today. Got 350 more miles to go. Taking my 10 in billings. Could have done 650ish but stop for an hour today. The scenery here is gorgeous but don't want to deal with it in winter lol.

Once you get west of Bozeman- You'll start enjoying the majestic sceneryTeion Thanks this. -
The drive past Bozeman was nice. Going through those passes had me on the edge. Had to really watch my speed. These jake brakes on the 579 not as strong as the volvo i had.
The customer wouldn't let me deliver early so I'm parked at the terminal. It's smokey out here. Dispatcher told me it's due to wild fires.Vic Firth Thanks this.
