Decker Truck Line

Well just got word from my mom that our house got water in it from the flood in orange. And that it's on my grandmother carport expecting it to be in the house later today or early tomorrow. So many families homes loss.

 

Yes it has. Thankfully my family has been rescued by boats. I'm still waiting to hear from my grandmother on my father side.

 

Thanks she is. She is waiting on someone with a boat now. They now have to open up 11 gates at the dam tonight so more water is expected. Once the water starts going down enough I'm going to put in a request to get home. From the sound of it everything is a loss. This will be tough but we are Texas strong.

 

Got sent two load assignments. Pick up off the yard going to Spokane,Wa. Then swap with a driver. Going to Houston. Hopefully it will be passable about time I get down there. Going to continue to monitor the news. The shop is currently looking over my truck. Making sure everything is fine with it. They had kenworth reclcok my wheel.

First two weeks are low due to going home midweek. This week looking good. Cut off is Saturday.

 

Well change of plans. Dispatched asked if I could swap so a driver could make it home to see his ill aunt. I said ok. So I'm here in Holcomb, KS waiting to complete the swap. But I'm assuming the load not ready yet. The driver I'm swapping with still is bobtail. I picked up at this Tyson plant before. Sat here for over 10hrs. Hoping this doesn't screw up my week.
