Yes and no. Most of they customers don't pay detention. It's the luck of the draw when it comes to it. Luckily It didn't take long once I got there.

Decker is running me good. Now if only I can get some of these big trips on the same check.

Currently on a run from Le Mars, IA to Casa Grande, AZ. They don't want me on 70. So heading south down to Texas then cutting across. I sure do miss heading out that way.

Quick update. My trips been 750-1k paid miles. So far ive been having 2 trips on the pay period. This coming pay period I will have three. Which will have me a little over 2900 miles for the week. This pay period I had 2400 miles(2 loads). The one before that I had 3500. But that was due to carrying over part of a previous trip. I have no real major complaints other then getting messages from them due to triggering the camera. Once I send in my mty call I have a load within 5-10 mins top.

I'm really pleased with decker. I know I'm still in the honeymoon phase. But hopefully they keep me moving the same in the months to follow. I'm doing the lease here as well. After the lease going to go pay cash to get my own truck.

    Gross earnings
    Wk1 $500 ( 1st sign on bonus)
    Wk2 $2,178 (net 1200+)
Wk3 $1,885 (neg week) didn't make cut off.
    Wk4 $4,337 (net 1700+)
Wk5 $3,042 (net 525) over fueled and missed cut off.
    Wk6 $3,888 (net 1800+)
    Wk7 $3,914 (net 1500+)

I'm not saying this is great money because I still have to take my taxes out. But it's ok money for me since I only have one bill to pay. They are running me pretty good so no complaints from me. Also to note the reason why I choose to lease is to see if I can handle all the responsibilities of a O/O. This is nothing but a stepping stone to me.

Do you have many overnight shipping/receiving appointments with Decker?

I only had a few (walmart). Most places during normal business hours. But a lot of our customers allow overnight parking.

I'm not a big fan of the camera either. But I will put up with it for now.

Just seems invasive. Like if I look at my phone to change songs boom fired.
