Ya gotta get those stickers but no waiting they have to unld when u arrive and the only sitting I do is at DC waiting for load but usually am on my break anyways.

Ya costco lds usually drop n hook but I had one it was d/h and I arrived at 9pm and store refused to take it until drop ti me at 4am and it was a home ld so I was forced to take a 10hr break 20miles from home what bs a drop should be a drop not at this certain time home depot dc does this bs as well

I'll be doing surge for the Walmart in Loveland CO this weekend, killing time until my home time on Monday.
I'm told the pay is miles or $150 per day, whichever is greater.
I'll have 10 hours tomorrow with 4.5 and 7.5 rolling in the next 2 days, so I doubt I have the hours to make more with miles.

I'm just glad I'll be in my own truck.

Last week I helped out on a P&G relay, which is basically jumping out of one truck and into another.
Day cabs that were not in the best of shape.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Kmart Dedicated out of Fairless Hills, PA. One Of the most challenging. The way those DC workers load those trailers is pitiful...

I made the move from Harrisonville to Moberly and that happened by talking to the Moberly staff. Harrisonville wanted me to coma back after running one load but since I live in St. Louis I prefer the Moberly dc. So after my home time I just told them I would rather run for them. But now I'm down for three days waiting on a part.

What is the Wal-Mart weekly pay like out of Moberly? I'm also looking to get on a dedicated route out of the St. Louis area.

Depends Im a surge driver which means I only help out but been here almost a yr now I average $1000 to $1200 and have $1500wks at times I make otr pay $.32 to $.42 and all stops $15 average of 20 stops a wk

Fleet pay is $.29 @ $10 a stop and 1st stop is $0 from the guys I talk to on. Fleet average $500-$600. Inly only talk to a few so might just be them???

They have a slipseat operarion. That goes home everyday and you drive in get load and del then back home daily I was asked to join I declined afrer I was told pay but with that ur gauranteed 320miles a day 6 days a wk 1 day off maybe more with new hrs we have but u required to work all holidays even xmas.

There are days they are short on loads and u just wont get one happens to me once or twice a month its suppose to be all the fleet gets loads first then surge but I know guys on fleet that just dont get loads at times when I do.

If you have no exp u need to go otr to learn how to run first we run a lot of backroads and they are hilly and curvy and u need exp specially done in the ozark area, we dont just run up and down interstates like otr drivers 2lane narrow roads not for new drivers.

I hate being away from my family but I need tomake a $1000 a wk as well but ill be going local in. A few months when I get my 2yr exp for atanker driver out of STL

Since I'm stuck at a terminal (waiting for parts), I asked about dedicated routes. There's no list, and each terminal mostly only knows about the ones they are responsible for! Here in Lewiston, that includes Canada, Walmart, Target, Costco, possibly a couple others. Yet another example of Swift's awesome communication.

as someone else said before if youre in their area and your on time percentage is good they will send u a message. and if youre good they will try to keep you. walmart in Colorado guarantees $150 a day. if u don't get it in miles they will just give it to u. even if they don't use you they will still pay you for it. as the other driver stated the pay is great. I was making $1,100 to $1400 a week doing local work, although sometimes I went to the surrounding states. Costco in Illinois is also a good one to work. they will run you as much as you want. whether its delivering loads to the stores, taking pallets, or picking up merchandise to bring back to the dc. there are several more in all states im usually working them. the pay is great. if u ever get the message make sure u keep the number because if youre ever in the state u can call and they will always have work. I just finished doing Costco in Illinois for the past 2 weeks now im on my way home to California for hometime. oh yeah if there are openings available your dm should send a message. I just got one yesterday saying that there is an opening in intermodal in Decatur, Georgia. if I get anymore ill be sure to post them for you guys
