My info is basic....always see them in the weeeeee hours of the morning if that tells you anything. I believe they have a dedicated gig out of a Hudson WI warehouse hauling parts for General Motors to dealerships.

Im looking into a gig with em in IL . Did you go 2 work for em ?
-
I worked for them for 2 months and then left. I was otr dedicated for the UNited Hardware account out of south dakota. delivering hardware and had a volvo 670 sleeper 10 speed. I was told i would gross $900 -$1000 a week.
after 2 months and never seeing over $750 week i went to my driver manager and all he did was offer me another job in the company doing something else locally. i dont like local.. i like otr. . i averaged all my checks together and my weekly pay average was like $625. I was forced to leave for financial reasons. now im making .46 cents per mile at a different company and averaging 2900 miles per week.
Overall it wasnt necesarrily a bad place to work just didnt make any money...they do have good benefit package. If your looking at working for them in IL im guessing youll be running out of Bolingbrook doin auto parts delivery and getting paid by the route not the mile. most guys i know doing that are getting what they were promised. If you can stay on the same route and get to know it well you can usually get it done quickly and make good money by getting it down and doing it in minimal hours while still getting paid the same amount.. Youll probably get stuck in a piece of SH**T Sterling daycab or if your lucky youll get a newer Peterbilt. all trucks are 10 speeds with electronic people net logs and the new ones have those dash cams that record everything. they have about 400 day cabs throughout various places in the midwest and about 40 condo trucks based in south dakota.
Be advised that youll be fingerprinting every item you deliver.. loading it to the lift gate then into the receivers place. you will be moving bumpers, exhaust pieces, transmissions, gas tanks, hoods, fenders etc. pretty much any auto part you can think of.. theres definatly some labor involved. most of them are pretty light as cars are made of plastic these days. most of this work is 3rd shift starting at 11pm or something like that. youll be backing a 48ft trailer into car dealerships in the middle of the night and will have the keys and alarm codes to gm and chrysler dealerships. If your not doing the auto parts thing then im guessing you will be doing some kind of linehaul type thing. dont know much about that except that any job you take with them i would suggest getting paid by the route instead by the hour...unless you wanna get paid $16.50. hope this helpsLast edited: May 5, 2013
