    Coldest I saw when otr was 10 below in north dakota. dint seem all that cold, no wind. Coldest it felt was 5 above in Council Bluffs, windy, thought I was gonna freeze solid -

    You did what you could to avoid the flu,,or a strain. Phone Meals ON Wheels:)
    Over 50 crowd is the target of shingles. I got my shot, my friend got hers,,her husband who said it was unnecessary just came down with shingle. Shingles can lay a person out for months and its incredibly painful. Crap i know a lot of people who have suffered through shingles.

    Shingles is a strain of the chicken pox. Not the flu. Had it at 29 and it sucks.

    Ya I know shingles is from the chicken pox virus and the vaccine is no guarantee but since it is the only choice of a shot at avoiding shingles I believe its money well spent....
    google shingles images..my wife had it,,,laid her out and she's tough as nails. BIL same thing,,could not work at all for 3 months
