    I have a 2013 freightliner the driver is completing of a diesel smell in the cab I have looked it over and can see it is wet by the def doser tip before the dpf have changed the doser tips before the dpf system and after the dpf system anything will help was thanking of changing the dpf doser unit but dose not explain the diesel in the exhaust

    Is it exhaust or actual fuel that the driver is smelling?

    All the fuel lines are on the driver side, cab air intake is on the passenger side..

    Did they step in a puddle of fuel in the fuel isle?

    Two things I can think of that might be your problem.

    1. Look at the bellows tube and make sure there it isn’t leaking anywhere. I have seen them crack toward the center of the truck and it wasn’t easily identifiable.

    2 there maybe a chance there was some crud on the Farrell of the steel line at the doser injector the last time it was changed. Remove the line and check the seats for distortion’s that might not let it seal.
