DEF tank level sensor

    I have a check engine light and the only code is:
    Instrument cluster MID 140 PPID 278 FMI 9

    So far from google it says it’s for a DEF tank level sensor but the tank is full. Is there anything i can possibly do to get this code off or will i have to get a shop to turn it off?

    Otr performance sells the tool you need for that. If you can't clear the code at least it will tell you what needs replacement.

    Wish I new that sooner I could have saved $2000 3 weeks ago.
