Maintenance account when it's taken by the shop because they have no way to bill it through Comdata. If you log into www.swiftowner.com though you can see a detailed statement by RO for each purchase showing gallons and price so you still have a way to deal with accounting. Depending on the shop though it can take around a week to get billed for it.

I'm glad the only DEF I have to deal with in my Prostar is the driver.
FrankMicaBay Thanks this. -
Nicely said Frank, Sadly my Prostar is getting upwards of 450000 miles... Hopefully I can get another one when it comes time to turn it in...
A21CAV Thanks this. -

The '13 Volvos are ISX equipped along with the KWs. The Freightliners have DD15 Detroits.
My understanding though, and proven by the 2013 Volvos is that we are switching to 10 speeds from the 8s (finally).scottied67 Thanks this. -
From a L/O point, I no longer top off my DEF at the truck stops. Purchase enough to last a week. The only time that top off, at a terminal, and that depends on the terminal and how many trucks are sitting in the Pre-Qual line, like OKC, COLS, DEN

You do have to get with your Dm for all reimbursements over 20$. As far as swift policy goes on DEF purchases you have to submit a recipt showing what you pumped. NOT THE PRE PAY RECIPT. Last time i purchased def I had to prepay for it inside because the pumps outside put a $500 hold on your debit card. Witch would have been fine except my bank fraud department immediately froze my account. When you have the receipt that shows gallons pumped submit it with your trip and pester payroll and your dm until it is taken care of or just get your DEF at a terminal.

Thanks folks. I did finally get payed for the last purchase after 1 month. The first one is a lost cause though. I seem to find myself in this same boat quite often. I haven't been near a terminal in a week and a half and the DEF tank is runnin dry. Been runnin shortish rural loads here for several days with not so much as a decent truck stop to be found for a shower or meal at days end. Very little interstate driving, mostly back roads.
You gotta know that it's just a matter of a phone call or a few keystrokes for them to set it up so we can get DEF with the Comdata card when fueling. They just won't do it.
