I would rather see the TA reduce their prices and not do the second serving thing.

Yep. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've had the TIME to take advantage of that "all you can eat" deal. It takes them FOREVER to bring out the additional items, even if it's something they can make quick, like a burger or an omelette.

Do you guys ever skip the T/S buffet in favor of a Golden Corral,or a Ryans. Those places sometimes let you pay by the .lb You could walk out with lunch and dinner.

Now that you mention that, TA will do that too. Just ask for a buffet to go. You can pack the 3 containers full. Then you can eat on it for a couple days if you have a fridge and microwave. You can get your moneys worth.

I like Golden Corral and Ryans too.

I'm not familiar with Ryans, but I do like Golden Corral. However, most of them (that I have seen,) don't seem to have truck parking anywhere nearby.

Ryan's used to be a good steak buffet until Old Country Buffet bought them out.

In my opinion, the only good steak buffets will have a BLACK MAN working the grill. I'm serious. I know it's racial stereotyping but THEY KNOW HOW TO GRILL MEAT!!!

years ago we went to a seafood buffet sat for 4hrs they just closed down the buffet said it was over not serving for dinner there were 5 of us.

another time a friend and i went to golden coral I got the free buffet with my chicken sandwich my friend got a coke. I ate the buffet and when my sandwich came i gave it to my friend.

the waiter said "no sharing the buffet"

I replied " I'm not, I am full from the buffet and am giving him MY sandwich" He was not happy but really could not argue the point.:biggrin_25523:

funny but when I was younger and thinner I used to eat alot more skinny kid haveing 4 plates while the big guy had a salad :biggrin_2559:

You got that right! A good grill man never cuts your steak to see if it's done. May as well just wring the rest of the juice out of it.

    Touchy aren't you.

Next time you quote me don't edit the post in such a way as to change its meaning. What I actually said was drivers on resets who aren't allowed to idle are more likely to set up camp in the restaurant. Hell I would myself if there were no way to stay warm or cool in the truck.

Last time I checked most of the companies limiting idle time are big fleets.
