So many posts on here about inverters, I've read a bunch, but I'm looking for feedback before I spend the money... I'm looking for a Pure Sine 3000 Watt inverter and it seems like nearly every one I've researched has pro's and con's so from a pure truckers POV which is the one to buy?

Xantrex is probably considered the best, but not cheap.
I have a GoPower 2,500 watt pure sine wave for four years now, works great.

I know you mentioned a pure sin but I have 3 of these in 3 different trucks. For over a year now all 3 have worked flawlessly. Cannot hear it while sleeping and powers a pretty good size fridge with separate freezer. Also run a microwave and coffee machine and there’s no issues. I can leave the inverter on powering my fridge/freezer for a 10 hour break with truck off no problem.

Have been using products purchased from the inverter store for several years. The AIMS Power products.
Have a few of the modified sine units. Have not had a single problem from them. About 2 years ago, switched to the pure sine version. Have 7 trucks with these units.
Have not had one problem from them. They run microwaves, coffee makers, refrigerators, TVs and a host of other items.

Would a 1500-2000w inverter be enough to run a microwave, laptop, and potentially a smaller george forman grill? Not all at the same time mind you...but the new truck that's coming in over the next couple of weeks isn't going to have a factory installed inverter so I'm gonna have to put my own in

I’ve been using that inverter for almost two years now. It powers my mini fridge, microwave and mini Keurig coffee maker with no issues. I have it on a 30a circuit breaker.

About a month ago it lost power to the 120v receptacles and the USB port.

Ended up being a bad fuse inside the inverter. Swapped it out for a new fuse and it’s been fine ever since.
